Last week I was provided with a challenge by the team at PrimeXBT. They gave me $1,000 to trade with but here's the twist: I could only take two trades. 😲

TRADE #1: The Debut
I carefully planned my strategy and went to what I trade best: XAU/USD. After analysing the chart, I noticed we were breaking out of a large bullish wedge.
Overall Gold has been in a large uptrend these past few months so I decided to take a buy position upon the break of 2323.
My target was liquidity at 2352, which would result in a near 300 pip gain.
The Result…
After a few hours of waiting, take profit hit!
619% Gain +290 Pips 🚀🚀
Beautiful start to the challenge, but it doesn't end here, I still have one more trade to take.
TRADE #2: The Final Trade
After the gold trade, I have some profit to play with. I then took a look at nasdaq to see if there were any opportunities… I found a great buy setup.
Nasdaq had been in an uptrend the last few weeks, approaching trendline resistance. I noticed we had a gap to fill, so I decided to take buy positions over night.
The result…
After placing my trade and going to sleep…
I woke up to nasdaq being up 100+ points!
60% Gain +110 Points 🎯🎉
Challenge complete.
